Risk Disclosure & Disclaimer
Version 1.0 · Effective June 13, 2026 · Christ ("Sentinel", "we", "us") · Read together with the
Terms of Service
In one sentence: automated trading in leveraged crypto futures can lose some or all of the money in your exchange account, quickly and without warning — only connect funds you can fully afford to lose.
1. What Sentinel is — and what it is not
Sentinel is a software tool that automatically copies trading signals from a third-party signal source onto your own exchange account, using API keys and risk settings that you provide and control.
- Sentinel is not an investment adviser, broker, portfolio manager, or fund. Nothing on this platform is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and no communication from us should be read as a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
- Sentinel is non-custodial: we never hold, receive, or control your trading funds. Your money stays on your exchange, under your account. We require API keys with withdrawals disabled; we cannot move your funds, only place trades.
- You make exactly one investment decision, and it is yours alone: whether to connect an account and how much risk to allow.
2. Trading risks
- Leverage. The strategy trades leveraged futures. Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains; an adverse move can liquidate a position and erase the margin behind it.
- Volatility. Cryptocurrency prices are extremely volatile and can gap suddenly. Stop-loss orders are not guaranteed to fill at their trigger price; in fast markets the realized loss can exceed the planned loss (slippage).
- Total loss. A sequence of losing trades, a flash crash, or an exchange failure can result in the loss of your entire account balance.
- Signal dependence. Trades follow a third-party signal source we do not control. Its quality can change, degrade, or stop at any time.
3. No guarantees — past performance
- Past results, statistics, win rates, equity curves, and any backtest shown anywhere are not a guarantee, promise, or prediction of future results.
- Backtests are hypothetical: they are produced with hindsight, do not reflect real execution, slippage, fees, funding rates, or outages, and routinely overstate what live trading achieves.
- We make no representation that any user will achieve profits or avoid losses. Most leveraged traders lose money.
4. Software & technical risks
- Software has bugs. Despite testing, Sentinel may misread a signal, fail to place or cancel an order, place a duplicate or wrong-size order, or stop running — each of which can cause losses.
- The service depends on infrastructure we do not control: your exchange's API, Telegram, internet connectivity, blockchain networks, and the computer the engine runs on. Outages or delays at any of these can leave positions unmanaged.
- We may pause, change, or discontinue the service at any time, including via the global kill-switch, without liability for trading outcomes that follow.
5. Third parties
Your exchange holds your funds under its own terms; exchange insolvency, hacks, withdrawal freezes, or account actions are outside our control and responsibility. Payments you make to us in USDT travel on public blockchain networks; transactions are irreversible, and sending the wrong amount, the wrong token, or to the wrong network or address can permanently lose funds.
6. Your responsibilities
- Use API keys with trading enabled and withdrawals disabled, and keep your account credentials secure.
- Choose your risk percentage yourself, and only allocate money you can afford to lose entirely.
- You are solely responsible for determining whether using this service is legal in your country, for any required licenses or restrictions that apply to you, and for your own taxes.
- Monitor your account. You can pause your bot, disconnect your keys, or close positions on your exchange at any time — staying connected is a continuing choice you make.
- The service is not available to persons under 18 or where prohibited by law .
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, liquidations, missed trades, data loss, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, software defects, third-party failures, or signal quality — even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed [the subscription fees you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim].
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Christ from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms or applicable law, or your trading activity.
9. Acknowledgment
By creating an account, and again each time you connect an exchange API key, you confirm that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure, that you accept these risks knowingly and voluntarily, that you are using the service for your own account and decisions, and that you meet the eligibility requirements above. We keep a timestamped record of each acceptance.
